The Nationwide Tour’s Fresh Express Classic returns to TPC Stonebrae for the third year from Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 17, 2011. See tomorrow’s PGA Tour stars tackle one of the East Bay’s finest courses.

Fresno’s Kevin Chappell is the defending champion while NFL hall-of-famer Jerry Rice is the tournament host and headlines the Wednesday (4/13) afternoon celebrity pro-am. Children 18 and younger are admitted free and 100% of the net proceeds from each ticket sale will go to the charity of your choice. The NCGA Foundation is one of the designated charities.

Are you ready to find out which company in Silicon Valley has the best golfers?

Round up a foursome of co-workers and join in some friendly competition against other companies in Silicon Valley.

Each team must be comprised of four golfers (must include one La Rinconada member) representing the same company and the event is limited to the first 25 registered teams. A La Rinconada member may enter more than one team in the competition. The member may be an active employee or retiree from the company and no more than two members from the same company may be in the same foursome. In addition to the spirited competition, 20% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the NCGA Youth on Course Program.

1:00 Shotgun Start – Two Net Best Balls of the foursome
