Q: How do I become a Youth on Course member?
1) Join a Youth on Course certified program. These programs teach life skills in addition to golf skill. A complete list of certified programs is available on www.youthoncourse.org.
2) Complete the NCGA Foundation’s online Rules of Golf, Etiquette, Life Skills and Healthy Lifestyles curriculum.
Q: How do I get my Youth on Course sticker?
If you join Youth on Course through the online curriculum, you must complete the following steps to receive your sticker in the mail:
1) After your answers have been approved, log in to the online curriculum website.
2) Download and print off your certificate of completion from the online curriculum website.
3) Have the certificate signed by a golf pro or coach, someone who can attest to your golfing ability and maturity. Time permitting the individual should write a brief note explaining his or her decision to grant a full or half sticker.
4) Send the signed certificate to the NCGA Foundation at P.O. Box 1157, Pebble Beach, CA 93953. You may also fax it to (831) 626-2650. Please enclose a return address.
5) Upon receipt the NCGA Foundation will mail back a Youth on Course sticker.
Q: How do I get my NCGA membership card?
If you join Youth on Course through the online curriculum you must sign up for one of the Online YOC Clubhouses to receive your NCGA membership card. To sign up, follow these simple steps:
1) After your answers have been approved, log in to the online curriculum website.
2) Click on the link to the online clubhouse that corresponds geographically with your home address. This will bring up the club’s homepage.
3) Click the link to become a member and fill out the short registration form. If you already have an NCGA/GHIN number through another club, be sure to let us know in the appropriate data field.

If you join Youth on Course via the online curriculum, NCGA Foundation staff will mail a sticker within 24 business hours of receiving your signed certificate of completion.

These reasons include:
1) Incomplete answers; you may have failed to answer one or more of the short answers.
2) Lack of effort; it is clear in reading your responses that you did not try your best.
3) Crude or inappropriate answers; you did not take the assignments seriously.
Q: Am I an NCGA member when I receive my Youth on Course sticker?
If you signed up for Youth on Course through a certified program the program director is responsible for entering your information into the club database so that you may become a member.
